Hawkridge Bed & Breakfast

comfortable sleeping

relaxed dining

For accommodation in Hope Valley, Derbyshire and the Peak District, what could be more relaxing than to stay for Bed & Breakfast at our Cottage in Castleton - situated behind Hawkridge books.

What do we offer?

We offer accommodation in a self-contained stone-built barn, situated in a peaceful spot at the rear of our property. The barn was converted in 1997 to a high standard and equipped with new furniture and fittings. We feel that our accommodation is different. We provide the cleaning, tidying up, and fresh towels and food daily. You have all the advantages of your own private accommodation.

What accommodation is available?

The barn has two floors. At ground level there is a twin-bedded room and a separate shower room with WC. The first floor is open-plan with a sofa and colour TV at one end and dining facilities at the other. This means there is luxury space for a couple. There is no parking adjacent to the barn, but Castleton has nearby street parking and a car park.

What about food?

We offer you a continental breakfast (typically tea, coffee, fruit juice, cereals, bread, jams, cheese, yoghurt and fresh fruit). All your food is ready on arrival and stored in your fridge. All crockery and facilities you need are present - even a corkscrew! You simply help yourself at your leisure. In the interest of safety, there are no cooking facilities. Castleton is blessed with five pubs, each one offering food at lunchtime and in the evening. There is no shortage of good places to eat.

What does it cost?

One couple - £70 per night - weekly rates also available.
Please phone or email to enquire about booking.

What is there to see and do?

The main attraction of the area (apart from Hawkridge Books of course!) is the stunning scenery.

Pets and Children

Sorry, we cannot accommodate pets. The barn has no facilities for children.
